towel applique appliqued play clothes
applique bib applique onesie

Shown at top left: Large palmtree applique on green stitched towel. Top right: Pink jacket & pants with gray hippopotamus applique. Bottom left: bib and hand towel with fish appliques. Bottom right: Baby Layette and hat with rabbit appliques.

Take any of our "blanks" and iron on an applique. Make sure your iron is hot enough and that you press the applique on securely. You do need to stitch them down to ensure they stay on. They'll survive a few washings without it, but not forever. I found the best look for stitching them down is to use a small straight stitch with matching thread just inside the border of the applique.

applique towel bib
This is Michael Miller's Blue Dotty Dot fabric on a towel bib. I like the monogram because it's not too girly for a boy's bib.
