- For the overalls, cut a pocket that fits nicely on the front of the overalls (depends on the size of the overalls). On this 3-6 months size, the pocket is 4" wide and 3" tall. I turned under the top of the pocket and stitched it. Then I pressed under the other edges approximately 1/2" and stitched the pocket to the overalls.
- For the suspenders on the overalls, you must rip the stitching that holds the strap to the strap adjuster. Then you can work on the straps flat. I Thermowebbed the ribbon to the straps, turning under the edge that will show in the back. I then stitched the ribbon down to the straps. Then I put the hardware back on (strap adjuster, then hook, then run strap through underneath strap adjuster) and stitched the strap back together. Your machine will fit through the strap, but you do have to work at it.
- For the hat, I again Thermowebbed the ribbon around the hat. You will have to play with it a bit, as you are putting a straight ribbon on a curved object, but it did work. I stretched the bottom edge as much as I could. I then stitched around the hat on both sides of the ribbon. Where the ribbon edges met, I made a little bow and stitched it down.
